Amanda Taylor is a shareholder at Christian Dichter & Sluga, P.C. and is licensed in Arizona and Illinois. Her primary practice areas are insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and she handles civil appeals. Amanda also has experience in general civil litigation, construction defense, negotiating business contracts, and employment litigation.
Amanda originally hails from Illinois but was thrilled to call Arizona home upon attending Arizona State University College of Law. During law school, Amanda had the unique experience of interning for Hon. Jeffrey A. Hotham at the Maricopa County Superior Court. Her time at the court taught her invaluable lessons on what tactics do and do not work in the pretrial phase and during jury trials. After graduating from law school, she dove head-first into civil litigation and never looked back. She became enamored with insurance law within her first year of practice and has honed her skills over the last two decades.
Amanda takes great pride in cultivating relationships with not only her clients, but also with experts, co-counsel, and others in the legal field. As a result, she is highly regarded within the legal community and insurance industry. Amanda is honored to be recognized by Super Lawyers and ranked by Chambers USA.
Amanda works tirelessly to support and advocate for her clients. Whether she is providing coverage opinions, drafting reservation of rights letters, revising policy language, or litigating claim disputes and bad faith actions, Amanda is known for providing quality service and focused attention that each client deserves.
She cares deeply about social equity and has recently been involved in the State Bar of Arizona task force on diversity and inclusion in the legal field. Amanda is also an active member of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association and mentors young female attorneys who are the future leaders of our industry.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family (both the two- and four-legged members), traveling, and reading.
