Brynn Toliver is an attorney with Christian, Dichter & Sluga whose practice focuses on civil litigation. She brings a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy, legal research and writing, case strategy, and client communication to her work on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Before joining CDS, Brynn practiced criminal defense in Arizona, representing clients and gaining hands-on experience with hearings, trials, settlement conferences, motion practice, and case management. Her earlier legal experience includes work with the Maricopa County Office of the Public Defender, the Arizona Justice Project, private criminal defense firms, and the Maricopa County Superior Court. These varied roles gave Brynn experience evaluating cases from multiple perspectives and strengthened her ability to identify key issues, develop thoughtful legal arguments, and communicate clearly with clients, attorneys, courts, and other participants in the legal process.
Brynn earned her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she received a Trial Advocacy Certificate and Pro Bono Distinction. During law school, she was actively involved in ASU’s Trial Team, serving on its Executive Board and developing her courtroom and trial advocacy skills through competitive mock trial. She also participated in ASU’s Public Defender Clinic, where she represented clients as a certified limited practice student.
Her commitment to advocacy extends beyond her own practice. Brynn continues to work with aspiring advocates as a coach for Sun Devil Mock Trial, helping students develop their courtroom presentation, case strategy, and trial advocacy skills.
Before law school, Brynn graduated magna cum laude from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a minor in Political Science, and a certificate in Dispute Resolution. While at Boise State, she was a member of the Spirit Squad for four years and served as team captain.
Brynn approaches litigation with preparation, organization, and attention to detail. She values collaboration and clear communication and works to understand both the legal and practical considerations involved in each matter.
Outside the office, Brynn enjoys reading and exploring new restaurants with friends.
