Andrew was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and is proud to call himself an Arizonan. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Andrew moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, he completed a Certificate in Corporate and Commercial Law while externing as in-house counsel for a hospitality and real-estate development corporation.
After graduation, Andrew worked as an attorney for the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office, where he regularly defended a wide range of cases at jury trials. In addition to his public defense work, he would volunteer time taking on pro-bono cases in the community with Metro Volunteer Lawyers.
In 2021, Andrew moved back to Arizona to transition to the private sector. Upon his return, he practiced private criminal defense, representing clients in courtrooms across the entire state. While continuing his trial advocacy, Andrew was also admitted to the US District Court of Arizona to practice federal cases.
Outside of law, Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors, going fly fishing, rock climbing, and skiing with his friends and family.
